The Heads of Real Estate at companies large and small are all working furiously on their plans on how/where their employees will office as the world opens back up. Many are looking at going to Hybrid or Hub and Spoke approaches maintaining an HQ while offering employees options as to how many days they can work from the main office, from home or from conveniently located co-working spaces.

Conversations with owners and brokers over the past couple of weeks indicate things have been a little slower in recent days, though everyone anticipates a bit of movement over the summer. That being said, I have a client who has been trying to lease a shopping center in Arlington Heights with few leads for over a year, and they have one new tenant and one pending as of this week.
