Analyzes the educational needs of the members and recommends educational programs for members, including those programs designed to assist members in meeting their continuing education requirements.

Government Affairs
Monitors governmental activities and initiatives affecting commercial real estate. They also distribute information about strategies for the protection of the rights of private property owners and their agents. Establish working relationships with local governmental offices, develops a clearing house of information about laws and ordinances, and create strategies for effective constructive change.

Grievance Committee
Investigates all requests for Arbitration and Ethics hearings and determines if the request shall be referred to the Professional Standards Committee for a full hearing. (Eligibility for this committee is qualified and may require attendance at Illinois Association of Realtors training programs).

Seeks opportunities to promote to the members, public, and the association. Prepare the quarterly newsletter to members.

Makes recommendations to the Board of Directors of new members. Seeks opportunities to expand the Association membership in all categories of membership.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for selecting Candidates through an election process to serve on the Board of Directors.

Philanthropic
The Philanthropic Committee evaluates charitable donation requests directly from nonprofit agencies or by employees who are personally involved with a nonprofit agency (i.e., through volunteerism, financial support or as a recipient of services from the agency).

Professional Standards
Hears all professional standards cases referred by the Association Grievance Committee. (Eligibility for this committee is qualified and may require attendance at Illinois Association of Realtors training programs).

Recommends to the Board of Directors an annual calendar of Association events including monthly membership meeting, the annual conference and joint meeting with other members of the Commercial Alliance.
