DESCRIPTION:NICAR Members – meet your GAD!\nJoin us via Zoom – 10:00am – 11:30am\nIllinois Realtors® provides Government Affairs Directors (GADs) to associations throughout the State of Illinois. They are your eyes and ears on the ground, providing insight into how policy issues affect residents, gathering feedback from the community, reviewing data on home sales and property values, and compiling statistics that reveal economic trends in the state. They coordinate their efforts resulting in the best government affairs representation on both commercial and residential issues. Their work benefits commercial and residential members, the consumer, and all the affiliates that work with us on our transactions. Protecting private property rights and the ease and efficiency of property transactions benefits everyone.\nThe purpose of the National Association of REALTORS® Government Affairs Directors (GADs) is to advance the public policy agenda of the real estate industry. This will be facilitated by the National Association of REALTORS® and will be accomplished through:\nA. educating and providing professional development opportunities for professional staff;\nB. networking opportunities;\nC. providing advice and input as requested to the committees, task forces, and staff of the National Association of REALTORS®; and\nD. providing an avenue for communication between and among the Government Affairs Directors and the National Association of REALTORS®\n \nRegister\n
